Press Accreditation Policy for all MancHagen associated events and activities
These policies ensure that media coverage from both professional journalists and fan media is organised andbeneficial for all parties while maintaining the event's security and image rights.

Eligibility Criteria:

Only media professionals (journalists, photographers, videographers, etc.) representing recognised news outlets, magazines, and online publications are eligible for press accreditation.

Freelancers must provide proof of work or a letter of assignment from a recognised media outlet.

Accreditation Categories:

Print/Online Journalists: For reporters writing for newspapers, magazines, and online publications.

Broadcast Journalists: For TV and radio reporters, including camera crews.

Photographers/Videographers: For those capturing still images or video footage of the event.

Social Media Influencers: Depending on the size of the platform and influence, some influencers may be considered for press accreditation.

Applications open months in advance of the event.

Applicants must submit credentials, including proof of their professional role, previous event coverage, and media reach.

MancHagen organisers may request letters of recommendation or proof of previous coverage for similar events.

Access Levels:

Press Room Access: For interviews, press conferences, and workspace for journalists.

Press Zones: Designated areas around the stage and performance area for media personnel.

Backstage Access: Limited to select journalists, particularly those conducting interviews with performers.

Green Room Access: Reserved for top-tier press or broadcast media; very limited.

Conditions & Restrictions:

Media personnel must adhere to specific guidelines, including not disturbing performances, no flash photography during live shows, and restrictions on the size of camera equipment.

Certain performances may be off-limits for photography or filming, as dictated by the artist or event organizer.

Media personnel must follow instructions from security and event staff at all times.

Permitted Media Usage:

All content (photos, video footage) captured at the event is for editorial use only, and commercial use is prohibited without express written permission.

Live streaming of performances or behind-the-scenes content may be restricted or require prior approval.

Credentials Pick-Up and Security:

Media badges or credentials must be picked up in person, typically from our designated accreditation center, with valid ID.

Security screenings may be required upon entry to the event, with credentials checked regularly by security.

All professional and freelance media outlets must submit their applications no later than Friday, 28th March 2025.

All applications submitted after the date above will automatically be declined.

Fan Media Accreditation Policy for all MancHagen associated events and activities

Eligibility Criteria:

Fan media accreditation is intended for individuals or teams managing fan websites, blogs, podcasts, YouTube channels, and social media accounts dedicated to the event or the artists involved.

Applicants should demonstrate a significant following and a history of creating content relevant to the event or its participants.
-
Fan media outlets are generally not allowed to sell or profit directly from the content produced at the event.

Application Process:

The application window opens early, similar to professional press.

Applicants must submit their platform's statistics (e.g., number of followers, monthly traffic, engagement metrics), along with examples of past content related to the event or its performers.

Organisers may cap the number of fan media passes available.

Access Levels:

Press Room Access: Limited access to press rooms may be granted for interviews with artists or fan-focused segments, but not typically for mainstream press events.

Designated Fan Media Areas: Specific zones may be set up for fan media to capture content such as interviews, social media snippets, and behind-the-scenes material.

Main Stage Access: Fan media are generally not allowed in press zones close to the stage but may have access to areas further away for general event coverage.

Fan Meet & Greet Areas: Fan media may get access to these areas to interact with artists.

Fan media outlets must adhere to strict content creation rules, including limits on the length of recorded content, no live streaming of performances, and restrictions on flash photography or professional equipment.

Content produced must be used for non-commercial purposes unless express permission is granted by event organisers.

Use of images and video for social media is allowed, but live commentary or streaming inside the concert venue may be limited.

All footage recorded by Fan media outlets must be made available to the organisers for use across event branding without restrictions.

Fan media content is usually restricted to online platforms, with restrictions on monetization unless permitted.

Organisers often encourage fan media to promote the event through hashtags, official links, and event branding.

Fan media must collect credentials on-site, showing valid ID and confirmation of their accreditation.

Security protocols apply, similar to professional media, including screenings and badge verification.
